  • Civil Rights Movement Veterans: Online memoirs of the people who changed the face of America. Former UM SDS member Marc Steiner is among those featured.
  • Poetic Justice: In 1935 Thurgood Marshall and Donald Murray challenged racial segregation at the University of Maryland.

  • Gibbs Plaza Historic Site: A memorial to the two students who were shot to death at Jackson State University in 1970.
  • May 4 Task Force: History from the viewpoint of Kent State University. Their motto: Long live the spirit of Kent and Jackson State!
  • The Sixties Project: Sign up for the Sixties E-List or browse the archives. You’ll recognize some of the names.
  • Viet Nam Veterans Against the War: This one is for Madison, Jim, Gerhard, Charlie, Larry, Mickey, Danny, Tim and all the vets who returned from that god-awful war to fight for justice on US campuses-- Thanks.
  • CWLU Herstory Project: Though focused mainly on the story of the Chicago Women’s Liberation Union, it features feminist documents that were required reading in the early days of the women’s liberation movement...you can also order reprints of those classic feminist posters that decorated so many walls in the old days.
