  • 3/39th Infantry of the Ninth Infantry Division- Before coming to UM in 1971, Gerhard Grieb was an infantry soldier in Viet Nam in 1967-68. This site is a tribute to the troops he served with.
  • JudiBari.org- Judi Bari was a prominent eco-activist and labor organizer. She died of breast cancer in 1997. 
  • Eyes on Paint Branch - Paint Branch is a scenic part of the Anacostia watershed that winds through the Piedmont country of the Maryland suburbs. Bob Ferraro helps to defend it from polluters and developers.
  • Carol Simpson DesignWorks - With his partner Estelle Carol, Bob Simpson helps produce labor cartoons and illustrations while assisting Estelle’s graphic design projects in web and print.
  • Progressive Maryland- Progressive Maryland works on grassroots political organizing in the Old Line state. Craig Simpson is currently political director.
  • Dr.Hayward “Woody” Farrar- Woody Farrar is now a history professor in Virginia. 
  • Dr. Lawrence Babits- Larry Babits is now a maritime archaeologist in North Carolina. 
  • The Labor Heritage Foundation- The Foundation exists to preserve and promote the rich culture of the U.S. labor movement. Saul Schniderman serves on its Board of Directors. Saul is also President of AFSCME Local 2910
  • Deborah Vollmer- Deborah Vollmer graduated from UM law school and once worked for the United Farmworkers Union. She has run for Congress in Maryland’s 8th District.
  • WYPR- WYPR is an NPR station in Baltimore, Maryland. Marc Steiner is the radio host of the Marc Steiner Show.
