Sir:
I represent a large company. We are fully capable of executing your project in an expedious and cost effective manner. Not only can we find the mountains you need, and move the people you mentioned, but we can also get the concrete to the site and arrange for it’s pouring. Should you wish to have any words appear on the tablet, in any language, we can arrange that too.
I look forward to hearing from you. I see a mutually successful conclusion to your great project and hope we both get to see a great Profit

Dear Hal,
You were just the company that I had in mind for this job. With your amoral perspective that business is just business, I trust that you would go about this with complete neutrality.
Personally, I have no particular interest in what gets inscribed. In fact, part of the power of this “experiment” is to see just what does get inscribed - if, in fact, anything does. So, much as I know I could get you to have anything appear that I might suggest, I will refrain from prejudging the outcome. Besides I think you and I both know what that outcome will be.
With that in mind, I think a parallel plan to ship engineers and technicians, and especially IT people, from India to the US and other Western countries would be prudent. Someone will have to operate all this stuff. Also, is there a large resevoir of animists who, though uneducated, could fill the basic laboring jobs and perhaps, with time, be taught to read road signs and learn to drive trucks, cabs and busses.
I’m confident that you are the right company for this task. How long do you think it will take to complete the shipping and do you think that taking the extra time to construct stadium seating on the mountains would allow is to seat everyone at once, so that repeat performances aren’t necessary. I’m concerned that if we seat people in waves, and if reviews of the first act aren’t good, that finding audience members for a second or third seating may be more difficult. This really is a world public mental health problem and I think depriving these people of appropriate treatment might cause problems for us in the future (based on the way they currently manifest their “beliefs”.)
I look forward to your response. Money is no object.
